USING EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE TO UNRAVEL WHITE PRIVILEGE

Sponsored by Interim Ministry Network (IMN)

A  2 hour Zoom Interactive Experience

May 16th, 2024
1 to 3 pm ET

Facilitated by Laurie B. Lippin, Ph.D. and Mary McCurty

In a Zoom format, we will consciously enter the landscape of whiteness, exploring our own social geographies. What does it mean to be white in a white dominant culture where whiteness is the standard and people of color are judged as other? You will be encouraged and supported to learn about your own privilege and participation in this system. The workshop focuses on participation, as well as information clarification of the many terms associated with systemic and institutionalized racism.
